Our dynamic national auto team is looking for an experienced Regional Claims Specialist to join our Eastern Region. The candidate will be providing technical support, training, and mentoring to the national commercial auto team. In addition, the successful candidate will have experience in commercial auto claims examining, including monitoring claims in legal proceedings, negotiating, and settling claims. How you will create impact:
Directing, adjusting and examining auto claims files on a national level.
Providing direction and authority to claims staff. Including, coaching, training, developing, and auditing team members and providing timely feedback to achieve department objectives.
Investigating claims as assigned within authority and provide control and direction to adjusters, vendors, and solicitors to ensure adjusting standards and litigation protocols are adhered to.
Demonstrating extensive knowledge of; insurance coverages, claims handling procedures, investigation methods, negotiation tactics and internal/external auditing.
Fostering and maintaining positive relationships with all internal and external contacts including underwriting teams, broker partners and vendors.

To join our team:
Minimum 5-10 years of commercial auto claims experience is required.
Extensive knowledge of professional liability claims handling.
Proficiency in reviewing claims and performing audits.
CIP designation is required.
What you need to know:
Detail oriented work that requires a high degree of mental concentration for extended periods of time.
You will provide support to clients who are experiencing a personal or financial loss. A high degree of confidentiality and discretion is required.
You will travel occasionally.
You will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
