Key Responsibilities:
Perform administration and support of health and welfare programs, retirement plans, related policies and other ancillary employee benefit offerings
Collaborate with broker, insurance carriers, and attorneys to develop benefit materials for the purpose of providing education to employees and their dependents
Oversee benefit related communications such as Benefit Bulletins, Enrollment Guides, New Hire Brochures, Annual Enrollment materials and statutory documents and notices
Answer and/or direct routine and complex inquiries from employees, human resources, and management such as enrollment, eligibility, claims appeals, data record issues.
Reconcile and request payment for administrative invoices and funding requests
Manages benefit vendor contracts and relationships
Maintain data integrity through identifying and correcting system issues by partnering with HRIS and payroll as well as external vendors for the testing, validation and implementation of the changes to ensure compliance of all benefit plans, programs and wellness initiatives
Serves as escalation point and Lead within the team
Provides support for special projects, perform research, and assist with other tasks as needed

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) or equivalent work experience in Human Resources – Benefits
Knowledge of qualified and non-qualified plans to include Health & Welfare, Retirement, and Ancillary Programs
Knowledge of ERISA and IRS legal regulations
Knowledge of government regulations as they apply to benefit plans, programs, or practices; company policies and operations
Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to perform with the utmost integrity in a professional and ethical manner
Proven strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills
Recent and extensive experience managing external vendor relationships
Strong presentation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team in a very fast-paced environment
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Added bonus if you have
Advanced relevant education or training (i.e. SHRM, CEBS, etc.)
HRIS, ADP, and Workday systems experience

Compensation: $92,000 – $98,000
