What can you expect?
In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and resolution for both internal and client-facing web applications running on Solaris and Oracle Linux operating systems.
You will collaborate with international teams, including Solaris and Linux Server Administration, Cyber Security, and Network teams.
Additionally, you will work on system issues, participate in troubleshooting, security vulnerability management, patching, and ensure application availability, reliability, and stability.

We will count on you to:
Provide support for web and middleware systems, including WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache, and Oracle Fusion on Solaris and Oracle Linux systems.
Troubleshoot application issues, including Severity 1 incidents, and collaborate with Unix teams, Cyber Security, F5 Load Balancer, and Network teams as needed.
Collaborate with Engineering, Database, Development, and other teams to support internal and third-party applications.
Implement change controls and perform application releases.
Participate in application upgrade processes, including OS upgrades, application migrations, and projects.
Provide engineering support for application software and middleware, and create and maintain technical documents, such as knowledge base articles, infrastructure diagrams, and FAQs.
Participate in infrastructure projects as directed by manager/supervisor.
What you need to have:
4+ years of experience in Middleware Solaris/Unix-Linux System Engineering/Application System Administration.
Strong knowledge of Unix Middleware support, including WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache HTTP server, and Oracle Fusion.
Experience supporting multi-tiered web application client-facing environments.
Ability to work effectively with international teams, including Development, Database, and Infrastructure support teams.
Willingness to work outside regular hours, including weekends, with prior agreement.
What makes you stand out?
Experience supporting middleware applications in Unix systems with standard three-tier architecture.
Experience working in a global enterprise environment.
Degree in Computer Science or graduation/certifications from a credited Technology Program.
Networking setup and F5 Load Balancer experience is desirable.
Ability to adapt to change and a willingness to question the status quo to improve the work environment.
Some experience with VIP DocManager is a bonus.
