What does the training and development plan of this role look like?
The training and development plan for this role focuses on a combination of onboarding activities, ongoing skill enhancement and exposure to emerging trends in UX. In the initial weeks, there will be comprehensive onboarding sessions covering marsh’s processes, tools and specific project insights. Ongoing training involves Workday courses, webinars and getting familiar with PPM UX Design System and getting familiar with best practices established by UX team.
Continuous learning opportunities, both internally and externally, are encouraged to stay abreast of evolving technologies and trends. Mentorships programs can be leveraged to facilitate knowledge transfer and professional growth. Additionally, there will be opportunities for certification programs to ensure the UX team remains at the forefront of the field.

What you need to have:
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), UX Design, or a related discipline.
They should possess a strong portfolio showcasing their experience in UX design, including wireframes, prototypes, and other completed projects that demonstrate their ability to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
Key qualifications must include proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch, expertise in user research methodologies and a solid understanding of interaction design principles.
Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves working closely with cross-functional teams. Additionally, staying updated on industry trends and a proactive approach to problem-solving are valuable attribute for success in this role.
What makes you stand out:
Previous experience in Insurance or Financial industry is preferred as it demonstrates an understanding of specific user needs and industry nuances.
Knowledge of front-end low code no-code platforms and familiarity of development languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript preferred.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence is good to have and will help this hire effectively participate and adapt to iterative development cycle and contribute to overall efficiency of the product development lifecycle.
