We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Underwriter in either Calgary or Edmonton. This mid-market role offers competitive premiums in the $50-200K range, encompassing renewals and new business across diverse sectors.
About the Role:
As a Senior Underwriter, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive solutions for Canadian small businesses. Collaborating closely with broker partners, you will assess risks and make underwriting decisions that align with the interests of all parties involved. Passionate about maintaining strong relationships, you will utilize your technical skills to ensure accurate risk assessments.
Qualifications:
5+ years of Commercial Underwriting experience in property, casualty, and/or automobile.
Completed or pursuing the CIP designation.
Strong customer service background.
Team-first mentality.
Mid-market experience is a plus.
