The Opportunity: We’re looking for a Senior Process Design Engineer to join our Business Management Team.
Your role will be required to regularly perform essential duties on behalf of the company from your assigned Aviso office. Your role is considered medium flexibility, requiring you to work onsite 1-3 days per week at our office at 151 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Management, the Senior Process Design Consultant is responsible for working with Business Partners in the evaluation of initiatives to determine impacts to process. Core duties include end to end process mapping and design or redesign the business processes to improve operational efficiencies.

What your day looks like:
- Define and align on approach, including the business problem to be solved, business objectives, scope of effort and success metrics
- End to end business reviews and root cause analysis using Lean Six Sigma DMAIC methodology
- Quantify benefits to assist with prioritization of improvement recommendation
- Establish metrics and KPIs to drive data informed decisions
- Influence and gain consensus to drive intended outcomes
- Planning and implementation of approved recommendations
- Facilitation, Elicitation and presentation of engagement deliverables and recommendations
- Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement and encourage & support thinking outside of the box
- Planning and implementation of approved recommendations
- Mentor Process Analyst(s) and team members
Requirements
Your experience and skills:
- 10+ years’ experience leading operational and service excellence engagements, business management within financial services industry; solid functional knowledge including but not limited to strategy, business transformation, project management, investment operations
- Bachelors in BA or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven record of high performance and achievement in past positions
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent process improvement designation is required
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Excellent presentation building/delivery and communication skills
- Exceptional relationship building skills – ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
