About the role
As a subsidiary of Intact, Partner Solutions (PSI) is a proud partner with the insurance broker community and offers turnkey, IT managed services. Our goal is to be a digital enabler in this market, offer simple, emerging technology solutions, ensure a safe and secure IT environment, and provide second-to-none customer service.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, critical thinking Senior Financial Analyst to help provide key financial insight in revenue costing and expense management for a growing technology-solutions business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop a breadth of operational experience for a PME that is supported by a large corporation. Your mission critical objective for the first year will be to support the team through a transformation phase of this quickly evolving business.
This role reports to the Manager, Operational Performance. This is fulltime permanent opportunity based in either Montreal (2020 Blvd Robert-Bourassa) or Toronto (700 University).
What you’ll do here:
Re-design dashboards & scorecards for changes in the service portfolio; introduce profitability, expense analysis and trends by service.
Contribute to a transformational project that will evolve the back-office ecosystem.
Initiate and contribute to improving processes for reporting, budget review, and operational performance analysis.
Take ownership of the monthly forecast tracking and rolling 3-year financial model.
Support new project and service analysis with CBA creation, financial ROI, and DCF analyses.
Support the yearly renewal and budgeting processes.
Act as a resource to support various operational teams with their financial needs.
Improve the active controls that are in place to safeguard data integrity and completeness.
Participate in and assume responsibility for special projects or mandates.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business
CPA designation: CMA, CGA, or CA
5+ years of experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis role.
Strong financial and data-driven business acumen.
Strong understanding and interest in information technology and its value to business.
High proficiency in MS Office applications with a focus on Excel and in data extraction / manipulation / synthesizing.
Excellent at making complex information accessible and presenting analysis results and recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial strategies in a clear and concise manner.
Experience with business intelligence tools is an asset (e.g., PowerBI).
Team player who enjoys working in a high performing culture and is open to evolving and changing priorities.
Willingness to actively contribute to a positive and highly effective team culture.
Bilingual (French and English): need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across Canada.
