Job description: Our client is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to support technical services and issues for several security platforms for insurance client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
Responsibilities:
Senior Security Analyst – Security Platforms responsibilities include planning, implementing, documenting and supporting security platforms within the client’s environment.
- Plan, Test, Install and establish connectivity for software components and services, utilizing best practices.
- Deploy and upgrade clients.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Configure systems in a secure fashion.
- Document support processes.
- Document HelpDesk processes for quick troubleshooting.
- Work with vendor support as required.
- Train and mentor others to share support.
- Monitor the performance of services and adjust as required.
- Monitor the software currency, and trigger upgrades as required.
- Monitor the licencing of services and provide recommendations for upgrading.
- Work with other teams to produce relative reporting as needed.
To be successful in this role, you should have excellent troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with supporting various platforms. This role will interact with the Information Security, IT Architecture, and IT Operations to make sure that the platforms are addressing the requirements from each area.
The Senior Security Analyst – Security Platforms will also provide leadership for developing procedures, process documentation, relating to the supported platforms, while providing training and mentorship to other resources.
Must Haves:
- 5+ years experience as a Cyber Security Analyst
- Security experience in any of the following – Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Antivirus software, Cloud Based Web Application Firewall and Content Delivery Platform, Certificate Management
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in Domain Name Services (DNS), Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Phishing Testing Platform
