    Overall Description:

    As a Freight Broker, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and providing exceptional customer service within the supply chain and logistics sector. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, negotiating rates with carriers, and ensuring the timely delivery of shipments. This is an incredible opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sales and customer service within the transportation industry.

    Responsibilities:

    – Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their shipping needs- Source and negotiate rates with various carriers to secure cost-effective transportation solutions- Coordinate and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery- Proactively communicate with clients and carriers to address any issues or concerns- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly resolving any inquiries or complaints

    Essential Job Functions:

    – Utilize transportation management software and other relevant tools to efficiently manage shipments- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistical processes and enhance customer satisfaction- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities- Prepare and analyze sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company

    Skills:

    – Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service within the supply chain and logistics sector

    – Preferred: An established book of business within the logistics industry

    – Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

    – Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities

    – Proficiency in using transportation management software and other relevant tools

    – Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities
