    The Opportunity:

    We’re looking for a Research and Insights Consultant to join our Marketing, Communications and Client Experience team.

    Your role will be required to regularly perform essential duties on behalf of the company from your assigned Aviso office. Your role is considered medium flexibility, requiring you to work onsite 1-3 days per week at our office at 1111 West Georgia St, Vancouver, BC.

    Reporting to the Director, Research & Insights the Research and Insights Consultant is responsible for using qualitative and quantitative research methods to improve the overall customer and employee experience.

    What your day looks like:

    • Lead customer and employee experience research initiatives, across the organization
    • Act as a subject matter expert for research methodologies, tools and resources
    • Apply statistical & analytic techniques to survey and other data to help stakeholders make evidence-based decisions
    • Support the Director, Research & Insights in executing the employee and client experience strategy
    • Proactively determine the data required (user analytics, customer feedback, etc.) to fulfill research objectives and execute research deliverables; work alongside the Business Intelligence and Business Analytics teams, and senior leaders across the organization to analyze trends, data from analytics and feedback
    • Engage research partners and senior stakeholders, and lead conversations to gather market & customer insights and derive impactful outcomes
    • Make recommendations on new methods, systems, and ways to obtain quality data and to improve efficiency in reporting
    • Support leaders to explain ideas to key stakeholders, by providing insight to data analysis and creating and delivering presentations as required
    • Work with the larger Product Marketing & Research team and various business units

    Requirements:

    Your experience and skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Marketing or related field or any equivalent combination of relevant background and experience
    • 3-5 years of experience in market research, customer insights or business analysis
    • Expert knowledge of survey research platforms (e.g. Qualtrics)
    • Working knowledge of data visualization/business intelligence tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
    • Advanced Excel skills needed and SQL skills a definite asset
    • Strong experience in both qualitative and quantitative analysis
    • Proven skills in transforming raw data into actionable insights
    • Experience building dashboards, interactive reports and presentations for senior leaders
    • Comfortable attending meetings with stakeholders and supporting data findings
    • Solid understanding of the employee/client life cycle, experience satisfaction metrics (NPS/CSAT/CES) and how to develop improved performance across the organization
    • Experience in CX/EX within a similar profile of organization and the associated software applications to do the job is an asset
    • Experience of working across a large organization with a matrix of operational teams is an asset
    • Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
