Position Details
What you will do
This position is responsible for Managing and Underwriting new and existing Programs based in the manager’s assigned region, with a clear focus on excellence in program underwriting
The Regional Program Manager will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with Echelon’s corporate standards by conducting audits and will be accountable for topline and bottom line results of Programs falling under his care
- Collaborate with broker partners to identify niche customer segments with specialized insurance needs
- Develop customized insurance programs tailored to the identified customer segments, ensuring that the program aligns with the company’s strategic goals
- Work closely with internal teams and resources to ensure a successful program launch, addressing any internal challenges or pushback
- Build and maintain strong relationships with broker partners, serving as the primary point of contact for program-related matters
- Track the success of the insurance program over time, including growth and profitability metrics
- Conduct quality audits and evaluations to ensure that brokers are operating within the specified program parameters and delivering high-quality service to customers
- Prepare regular reports on program performance, growth, and profitability to share with internal stakeholders
Who you are
- University Degree (Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar), or recognized Insurance-specific degree
- 5 years of relevant P&C-related experience, with at least 2 years in Commercial Auto and/or Transport
- CIP or FCIP designation
- CRM exposure
- Significant involvement in underwriting operations
- Experience dealing directly with brokers or MGAs
