Position Details
What You Will Do
- Analyze, assess, and respond to privacy-related queries and data subject requests
- Coordinate projects associated with the Privacy Modernization effort
- Support process improvement initiatives across the Privacy Program
- Support Managers and Directors across corporate business lines and project teams, as needed, by addressing privacy-related queries in their areas
- Assist with annual Controls attestation and reporting
- Stay up to date in current developments in privacy laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain a registry for Privacy-related updates, regulatory changes, and Privacy by Design technical advancements
- Support privacy training and awareness effort
- Analyze the privacy impact and risk associated with new and existing products, processes, and third-party agreements
- Use Privacy governance technology to conduct audits and analytics required in program reporting
- Analyze formal privacy impact assessments to ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and policy requirements for privacy
- Document privacy incidents, gather relevant information, and communicate privacy risks to internal stakeholders
- Assist with the evaluation of NIST Privacy controls which will be used to protect personal information environment
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in a pravacy/data protection environment, preferably in the Financial Industry
- Familiarity with risk assessment and management frameworks
- Excellent analytic and recent research skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- CIPP certification (or interest in obtaining within 12 months) is desirable
- Knowledge of statistical analyses an asset
