ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a local brokerage with strong attraction in the market, their Personal Lines division is growing due to flowing leads and requests from commercial clients.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager will focus on servicing existing customers, manage and build a book of business with highly experienced team members, provide expert advice to customers. Work closely with commercial department on leads, develop VIP markets. With the right candidate, this position can lead to a Team Lead position, manage and grow existing Personal Lines team, mentor and coach junior staffs and involved in process improvement projects.

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Effectively manage and expand an existing portfolio of personal lines business.
• Cultivate and nurture strong client relationships through prompt and professional communication, addressing inquiries, and recommending suitable coverage options.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ insurance needs and actively seek opportunities to enhance their coverage.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market dynamics, and new insurance products to provide valuable insights and advice to clients.
• Process mid-term policy changes using various company portals and maintain accurate client files in the BMS system.
• Initially, handle both renewals and day-to-day client interactions, with the eventual goal of assigning dedicated responsibilities to team members.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Level 1 Alberta insurance license
• You have minimum 5 years of experience in Personal Lines Insurance at a brokerage
• You have a strong knowledge of personal insurance products, policies, and regulations, and are always looking for creative and innovative solutions
• CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM designation is an asset

COMPENSATION

• Base salary between $55,000 – $75,000 depending on relevant experience + annual bonus based on growth of the book
