About The Role
“We strive to provide exceptional customer service through friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff.” We currently have an opening for an account associate, encompassing personal insurance retail.
What You’ll Do
- Underwrite and enter new business into Company systems
- Process policy changes on company websites
- Reception Back-up
- Provide support to sales and service teams as required
- Assist Account Executives regarding client premiums, account reconciliation, and other issues as they arise
- Prepare and provide to clients: proposals, applications, summary of insurance and certificates of insurance
- Utilize our Epic broker management system to accurately input all client activity
- Read, understand and address written work orders and contracts such as lease/finance agreements, mortgagee requirements, legislation, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need for Success
- Personal Insurance experience is considered an asset.
- Newly RIBO licensed individual would be preferred but not mandatory
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business is considered to be an asset
- Excellent customer service skills, problem solving and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and work with a sense of urgency
- A true team player who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Working knowledge of Insurance Company portals) and ARS is preferred
- Skilled user of Microsoft, excel and PowerPoint
