Job Description
About this job:
Support all technical aspects of PeopleSoft Finance and related ETLs as well as other finance applications to ensure stability and reliable internal and external reporting as a member of the IT department: combine strong development and administration skills with project management experience and functional expertise in PeopleSoft Finance, related data integration from/to PeopleSoft, lifecycle and security such as to satisfy all aspects of application management.
Accountabilities Contributes to the management of Finance initiatives on a technical IT side by following a governance model for reviewing, prioritizing and monitorning these initiatives. Formalizes business cases for new technical developments coming from business and functional team members, conducts technical gap analysis, proposes technical solutions and builds technical specifications, develops test scripts, and supports testing processes. Manages software installation, security, and upgrades together with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
Qualifications
About you:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in PeopleSoft technical developments.
- Experience with key accounting, account payables, and receivable concepts
- Knowledge on enterprise application & ETL data management
- Technical Analysis and new technology market watch
- Experience with PeopleSoft administration, PeopleTools, XML Publisher, Application Designer, SQR, Query, Peoplecode, Application engine, Integration Broker/Webservices, Filelayout, PeopleCode PeopleSoft Security Administration, SQR, Visual Basic, Java, HTML, JavaScript, Oracle SQL, SQL Server, Autosys & Job scheduler type of tools, SFTP, .bat
- Understanding of lifecycle management including managing multiple deliverables with overlapping priorities and deadlines. Must be comfortable in rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous work situations
- Technical experience with Snowflake, DataVirtuality and Business Object as well as a Re/Insurance background is desirable but not a must-have
- Experience with systems integration, technical interfaces, and analytics
- Fluent written and spoken English is a must
- Ability to own tasks, prioritize work, multi-task, and work independently with remote supervision § Ability to participate in several international projects in parallel
- Bachelor’s Information systems / Computer science
