    The Opportunity:

    Join the Multinational Program Group (MPG) which empowers underwriters to confidently pursue and write multinational programs. The multinational analyst is focused on the execution of Controlled Master Programs (where a Home country Master Policy is Paired with Local policies issued around the world) across commercial business lines. Focused on the execution of Controlled Master Programs across the GRS business lines. Applies understanding of risk evaluation on new and renewal business. Works with the producing office underwriter or analyst to determine the requirements of local policy placements. Understands if the producing office pricing model can be applied to the risk or if the issuing country has specific rating and pricing requirement. If local office pricing is required supports collecting and organizes information to either directly enter pricing models or shares required information with appropriate network partner. Engages with the appropriate network partner to develop a compliant Good Local Standard policy quote taking into consideration the initial analysis of exposure, loss and coverage for the underwriter. Supports the underwriter and agent/broker with highly responsive service by managing the workflow from clearance through local policy pricing, quoting, assessment of any policy taxes or fees through to invoicing including policy issuance, reinsurance and file documentation. Follows up on any and all additional information requirements need on specific transactions. Coordinates the network partner or Liberty offices delivery of the established Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and service requests in a timely manner. Performs quality check on all Local Admitted Policy (LAP) contracts and confirms transaction is complete to underwriter. This role is reserved for proficient and productive employees who have consistently demonstrated ability to apply thorough understanding of commercial lines (Property, Casualty or Specialty) underwriting practices to pre underwrite less complex accounts, assist with the handling of the most complex account work and act as a resource to less experienced coworkers.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Deconstructs submissions by identifying and understanding the country requirements for each country included in the submission. Understands how to use the Axco guide and other tools to research and confirm required and best practices country rules of operation including Insured risk, broker information, mandated exposure data and any documents required to meet local compliance standards (e.g., Anti-Money Laundering AML documentation or Cash before Cover). Collects and enters information into Liberty and network partner systems, pricing tools and models; flagging referral triggers, and initiating/managing requests to internal and third- party network partner service providers (e.g., rating and booking data)
    • Gathers, analyzes and ensures the accuracy of pricing and proposal information (rating and pricing tool output, proposal language, coverage forms and endorsements, financial and legal agreements and offer/ disclosure /election forms) requested by the underwriter and executed by the network partner to complete the coverage review, hazard analysis, pricing strategy and proposal
    • Provides customer service to brokers and agents to facilitate the processing of business; answers questions, resolves problems on topics such as policy transactions, billing, and service needs.
    • Executes post-sale account management workflow, including initiation of billing, policy issuance, acquisition of account agreements, reinsurance and file documentation.
    • Initiates pre-renewal communications via conditional/non-renewal notice draft when necessary and coordination with the Controlled Master Program underwriting renewal strategy. Provides underwriter with reminder of any country requirements for local placements and timelines.
    • Supports the underwriter with mid-term account reviews / stewardship, ongoing service, service planning and endorsements
    • Act as a resource, mentor or subject matter expert on multinational exposures and process guidance for less experienced coworkers within or outside of the team

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Associates or bachelor`s degree preferred.
    • Proven track record of performance in Account Analyst or other support roles.
    • Knowledge of commercial property/casualty/specialty pricing models, coverages, endorsements, forms, cancellation/conditional renewal requirements, terms, processes and internal service departments.
    • Basic knowledge of commercial or specialty lines products and contract language including regulatory and policy differences among applicable states.
    • Ability to perform work accurately, timely and with minimal supervision.
    • Capabilities include critical thinking/problem solving, decision making, customer focus, detail orientation, written/verbal communications, organization, adaptability, courtesy, dependability and ability to learn/apply new information quickly and accurately.
    • Knowledge, skills and capabilities typically acquired through 3 or more years of related work experience.
