Responsibilities:
- Responsible for underwriting, growth, and profitability of the Canada Marine portfolio
- Responsible for new and renewal marine business, including Marine Cargo, Hull/P&I and Marine Liabilities.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with Marine brokers and build and maintain new broker relationships to foster business growth and meet profit center profitability and growth goals.
- Analyze coverages, issue policies and endorsements in accordance with established service standards.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of marine production underwriting experience, with demonstrated progressive levels of responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of marine forms, terms and conditions.
- Strong producer management and production skills with an understanding of the profit center’s business objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
