We have an exciting opportunity to join our Logistics Team as we are actively recruiting for a Logistics Specialist responsible for coordinating the shipment of goods in a cost-effective manner. This position reports to the Transportation and Logistics Supervisor.

What we’re looking for:
- Prepare customs documents including bill of ladings, customs invoices, certificate of origin, export declarations of inbound / outbound freight as required to support Customers and Centerline Global Affiliates.
- Prepare ACE Manifest for Centerline’s driver.
- Prepare Export Declaration for Centerline International shipments.
- Package parts, preparing shipping labels and documents for courier shipments as required.
- Communicate with internal staff on the status of shipments, while preparing and arranging for upcoming shipments
- Keep record of all customs documents as per CBSA and CBP requirements.
- Develop and maintain database for all Logistics Contacts.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned such as assisting with renting equipment for installations.
What you need to succeed:
- Post Secondary education in Logistics/International Trade or related field an asset.
- Certified Customs Specialist by the Canadian Society of Customs Broker is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of standard transportation documentation.
- Knowledge of customs import / export documentation.
- Knowledge of harmonized customs tariff classifications
- Minimum 1 year shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing setting.
- ERP experience an asset.
