IT Business Analyst Specialist

What can you expect?

• This team supports the Private Client Services (PCS) and Small/Medium Enterprise (SME) business segments.
• The GIT team structure supporting this business group is comprised of 3 members, covering an array of activities from run the business (RTB) tasks, to change the business (CTB) projects, and enhancing the business (ETB) using existing technologies or new where possible.
• This team is based in Canada – supporting offices nationwide (Toronto, Kitchener, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Saskatoon, etc.)

We will count on you to:

• Elicit Requirements from Business stakeholders
• Develop process maps to visualize current and future state
• Translate Business Requirements into Technical specifications
• Identify gaps and illustrate process improvements
• Researches and solves open functional design questions
• Utilize data analysis tools & techniques to facilitate data migration
• Create test cases/scripts
• Lead and perform functional testing & system integration testing
• Coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing
• Manage communications with clients & end users
• Troubleshoot issues, and drive resolution

What you need to have:

• 5-7 years experience as an IT Business Analyst
• Excel experience at a very capable level
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to self manage schedules
• Ability to conduct end user training with our business partners

What makes you stand out?

• Insurance industry experience
• Broker management system experience (TAM and/or Epic preferred, CSSI/TBW, Sig, Power Broker, etc.)
• Proficiency with data analysis/manipulation/extract/merge
