IT Business Analyst Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst Specialist to join the Global Information Technology (GIT) team, supporting Affinity & Program business.
What can you expect?
- This team supports the Affinity Canada Program Business at the client.
- the GIT team structure is comprised of 23+ members supporting Program Renewals and new Business initiatives.
- Home regions for this team include Canada, India and Mexico.
We will count on you to:
- Elicit Requirements from Business stakeholders with an emphasis on Program Policy renewals
- Translate Business Requirements into Technical specifications
- Utilize data analysis tools & techniques to facilitate data migration
- Ensure Development and QA Service Centre team has a clear and complete understanding of the requirements
- Create test cases
- Develop process maps to visualize current and future state
- Perform functional testing & system integration testing
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing
- Manage communications with clients & end users
- Create system reports
- Troubleshoot issues, and drive resolution
What you need to have:
- At least 7 years experience as an IT Business Analyst
- Ability to follow/adhere to Change Management process
- Excel experience at the very capable level
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to self manage schedules
- Ability to conduct end user training with our business partners
What makes you stand out:
- Insurance industry experience specifically around policy renewals
- Experience with Broker Management Systems or software
- Demonstrated and very strong experience with excel i.e. VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP formulas and functions
- Proficiency with data analysis/manipulation/extract/merge
- Bilingual in French & English
- Working knowledge of SQL and databases
