Position Details
This is a 2 year new graduate program in Underwriting designed to set you up for success as you start your insurance career.. The first year is the “Foundation Year”, where you will learn the fundamentals of your chosen area – this will be a combination of in classroom and on-the-job learning. The final year is a rotation into a niche area including Long-Haul Trucking and Commercial Lines Property.
Learn – You will benefit from receiving classroom and on-the-job technical training in addition to receiving guidance from experienced subject matter experts. Your technical learning will also be complemented by soft skills training to ensure you continue to build upon your interpersonal skills for success
Mentorship – You will be provided with one-on-one mentoring opportunities which will assist with your growth and development during the rotational journey
Growth – You will build a career in the insurance Specialty market and benefit from gaining some of the most desirable skills and experience in insurance

Who You Are
Completion of Undergraduate degree at the time of hire, with a degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance or Business
A competitive GPA
Strong learning agility, natural curiosity, team oriented, communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills
Strong command of French language; written and spoken (bilingualism is a plus)
Available to start full-time in January 2024
