Our Director of Commercial Casualty, Corporate Underwriting works hard to set and maintain Northbridge’s commercial casualty underwriting guidelines and act as the technical referral point to the organization’s profit centers.
A Director Commercial Casualty, Corporate Underwriting will proactively look for ways to provide insight to help drive profitable growth of Northbridge’s commercial casualty portfolio. They have a passion to work with others and provide technical guidance to direct reports and to various cross functional departments including actuarial, claims and risk services.

You’re great at:
Identifying trends and areas for opportunity in a Commercial casualty portfolio
Engaging with cross functional stakeholders to build better systems and processes
Keeping abreast of industry trends and working within a regulatory framework
Creating and modifying underwriting guidelines and wordings
Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
Developing and mentoring a team of direct reports
Providing leadership to improve NBFC’s casualty underwriting technical skill set
You have:
10 years’ experience in commercial casualty insurance business.
3 years’ experience in a leadership role
Strong understanding of the Insurance Industry
Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent on the job experience
