ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a great opportunity for someone, who is an expert in analyzing and assessing risks but also enjoys acting as a trusted advisor to Brokers.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Reviewing insurance documents, new business applications and renewals
- Conducting risk analysis
- Making prompt and appropriate underwriting decisions maximizing profitability
- Building and nurturing close relationships with clients, brokers and stakeholders
- Representing the company at industry events
THE REQUIREMENTS
- 2-5+ years of Commercial Insurance experience as an Underwriter
- High attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
COMPENSATION
- Based on seniority level: $65,000 – $79,000
- Hybrid or fully remote option (within Ontario)
- Comprehensive benefits, including education assistance and RRSP matching
