    What’s the ask?

    Reporting to the Manager, Commercial Brokering, you’ll support our commercial lines sales team to develop marketing strategies, negotiate coverage terms and pricing, and provide recommendations to develop comprehensive and competitive insurance options that meet the needs of our clients.

    • Working in conjunction with the Leadership team, this role allows you the opportunity to use your technical knowledge to take commercial submissions to the next level
    • As a thought leader, you’ll stay current on market and industry trends and provide technical advice to your colleagues.
    • You will build strong relationships with insurance markets, attend industry events and report on industry trends to our Commercial team
    • You will attend onsite risk inspections and client presentations as needed

    What does it take?

    • 5+ years of commercial insurance experience
    • Cross-border and specialty lines expertise is considered an asset
    • Self-starter and strategic thinker with a can-do attitude
    • Supportive team player
    • Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities regularly in a fast-paced environment
    • RIBO license is required or ability to obtain
    • CAIB, CIP or CRM designation (or working towards designation) would be an asset
    • This position is subject to appropriate background checks that may include, credential, employment, credit, criminal and reference checks.
