ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Commercial Account Manager in Surety team, you will be working closely with Account Executive. This individual will be responsible for managing a select group of accounts and is ideally suited for an experienced broker who provides the highest level of client service.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Your primary responsibility will be to act as the go-to contact for all customer insurance needs. You are responsible for maintaining a positive and proactive customer communication at all times while performing all renewal activities for the surety book of business as well as underwriters. Your daily duties include:
- Provide end to end customer service to established surety clients
- Preparing and issuing bonds, processing endorsements
- Secure bonding support
- Financial analysis on current and potential clients
- Build marketing relationships with designated underwriters, maintain a positive and proactive relationship with underwriting, always putting the client’s needs first
- Work across provinces, BC, AB, MB, ON, and QB
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Level 1 broker license
- At least 1 year experience in surety, more than 5 years to be a Senior Account Manager
- Strong client-facing skills
COMPENSATION
- Negotiable base salary, between $70,000 – $100,000 depending on relevant experience + bonus + commission
