Our successful candidate will be accountable for providing administrative support in the billing and collection of premiums from insureds. From sorting cheques and posting slips to posting journal entries for service charges and all things in between!
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is organized and possess excellent communication skills to join our team. In other words they’re awesome, if you are too consider joining our Premium Accounting team!
You’re great at:
- Provide administrative support in the billing and collection of premiums from insureds in an accurate and timely manner.
- Processes policy reinstatements and cancellations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge and understanding of broker operations/procedures, industry trends, developments, and regulatory changes, to contribute to quality customer service.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
You have:
Post-secondary education in a financial discipline or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience an asset.
Previous administrative /customer service experience or other related discipline an asset; Property and Casualty Insurance experience an asset.
Basic knowledge of insurance accounting, including premiums, claims, statutory overdues, collections, reinsurance, and loss accounting an asset.
