Bilingual Claims Examiner – Architects & Engineers (One-year contract) – Hybrid Remote

You will be part of our strong team of insurance professionals and will work with adjusters, technical experts and legal counsel to develop and coordinate defense strategies in order to bring insurance claims to a final resolution. The majority of claims relate to professional engineers and a high percentage of these claims are in Quebec.

We will count on you to:
- Review and assess new claims to determine coverage and take appropriate action
- Retain and instruct lawyers/adjusters and experts as required
- Work with retained professionals to assess legal exposure and strategize on resolution
- Report to and collaborate with internal and external clients
- Some travel may be required.
What you need to have:
- Fluency in English and French is mandatory (written and oral)
- A university or college degree.
- Work experience in a professional environment
