Our Auto Claims team is on the hunt for experienced Auto Claims Advisors – empathic, motivated and customer focused individuals.     As an Auto Claims Advisor, you will be our customer’s first point of contact when they need us most. Providing exceptional customer service, you will be guiding them through the claims process, conducting investigations and making the decision on the best course of action.

    To meet our customer’s needs, you must be available to work on a rotating shift schedule during the hours of 8am to 5pm on Monday through Friday.

    What you’ll do:

    Empathetically guide customers through the claims process by investigating their automobile damage claim and looking after their needs in keeping with their insurance policies

    Comply to company and industry regulatory practices, delivering best practice methods and taking responsibility for your customers and claims outcomes.

    Work autonomously a in a digital environment as part of our great auto claims team

    · Actively participate in ongoing training to keep up to date with best practices in claims handling

    Contribute to special projects and provide feedback to support Aviva’s ongoing initiatives to provide the outstanding customer experience

    What you’ll bring:

    Insurance industry Experience (adjuster, broker or agent)

    Working toward a CIP designation with the Insurance institute

    1-2 years claims adjusting experience, with current licensing in all Atlantic Provinces would be an asset

    Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter or other Guidewire insurance products

    Excellent oral and written communication skills

    A strong attention to detail & analytical skills

    A drive to provide an exceptional customer experience

    A willingness to work as part of a team to help the department achieve its larger operational goals

    Genuine curiosity and inquisitive approach to making improvements to processes

    Ability to work within and positively add to our organizational culture and values
