    A day in the life.

    As our Account Manager on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you’ll actively manage a book of business to ensure each client’s welfare benefit plan needs and goals are met. You will assist with day-to-day service issues and concerns such as eligibility, claim and billing issues, vendor management, mergers and acquisitions, and complex compliance situations. You will also manage benefit annual enrollment periods and the implementation of plan changes and coverage transfers.

    We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the welfare benefit plan industry is preferred, working for an employer, insurer/administrator or broker.
    • Effective relationship-building and public speaking skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
    • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
    • Able to work independently and be detailed, organized and resourceful, motivating others inside and outside of the firm to accomplish goals.
    • Experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred.

    These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

    • A degree in business, human resources, health care administration, communication or other related area is a plus.
    • Knowledge of group insurance (medical, dental, vision, life and disability products).
    • Experience with Publisher.
