    Group Benefits Service Representative – Fixed-Term

    What can you expect?

    The Service Representative is responsible for providing support to the Sales Representatives in our Group Benefits Division. The objective is to support and assist the Sales Representatives with business development and retention through maintaining relationships, responding to inquiries, and managing issues.

    We will count on you to:

    Provide service support for a team of Sales Representatives

    Foster and maintain productive relationships with plan advisors

    Manage client and/or broker issues proactively

    Respond directly to advisor inquiries including but not limited to questions on quotations, plan amendments, underwriting guidelines, new business requirements and submissions, commissions, contracting/licensing, and website inquiries

    Review and submit new business applications

    Research answers to complex inquiries and/or claims issues

    Provide training to advisors and assistants on Victor advisor portal

    Provide assistance to Sales Representatives with escalated claims issues

    Provide vacation back up for Sales Representatives

    Provide general support duties as required

    What you need to have:

    1+ years’ experience in the group benefits insurance industry

    Proficient in Microsoft 365: Outlook, Word, Excel

    Must possess exceptional communication and analytical skills, multitasking abilities, as well as problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills

    Must be a strong team player

    Secondary education in insurance or business administration is preferable
