    Job description: We have a great opportunity for a Business Project Manager to join our Aviva Business Strategy team. This role is responsible for governing the Aviva Business portfolio of initiatives, from ideation, business case creation, prioritization, and implementation. The individual will drive the overall portfolio as well as lead multiple projects. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and is committed to delivering against the strategic roadmap.

    What you’ll do

    • Responsible for overall prioritization, execution and tracking of the department portfolio.
    • Develop, manage, and continually evolve a prioritized roadmap, aligned with the strategic priorities of the department.
    • Build executive presentations for updating senior leadership on strategic initiatives: Initiative Progress, Performance and overall Governance
    • Support sponsors in developing strongly vetted business cases for consideration, approval, and subsequent benefit delivery
    • Accountable for managing the successful delivery of multiple initiatives ensuring plans are created and tracked, financials are in line with forecasted expenditures and resources are available to achieve success.
    • Engage appropriate teams (Learning & Development, Communications, Change Management, Broker Distribution etc) to ensure the successful adoption of initiatives.
    • Conduct post implementation reviews to assess whether benefits have been achieved. Recommend and implement radiation plans where required.

    What you’ll bring

    • 5+ years’ experience in the Insurance industry
    • Commercial Insurance experience is preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in business or other related disciple or equivalent practical experience in a relatable role.
    • Solid experience leading and directing strategic initiatives
    • Project management designation is a strong asset.
    • Strong business insight, coupled with excellent project management and facilitation skills.
    • Ability to problem solve and to make impactful decisions through analytical skills and judgement.
    • Ability to summarize large volumes of information into clear and engaging communications.
    • Highly collaborative with excellent stakeholder management experience.
    • Excellent communication skills in all channels of correspondence
    • Ability to work in a fast pace and changing environment
