ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a boutique insurance brokerage with strong team of experienced brokers, running business based on referrals and word of mouth. Due to continuous success and increasing business needs, they are seeking an additional Insurance Broker to join their team and help local businesses protect their assets in creative and innovative ways.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Personal Insurance Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional insurance solutions and building strong relationships with clients and underwriters.

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Manage client requests through various channels, including phone and email.
• Review policy renewals and communicate with clients to gather necessary updates.
• Up-sell and cross-sell to new and existing clients
• Process relevant documents and paperwork.
• Handle all insurance policy requests efficiently.
• Stay updated on industry changes, underwriting regulations, and workflow processes.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Level 1 insurance license
• Minimum 3 years of Personal Lines Insurance Broker experience
• Demonstrates a positive and respectful demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Suite products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Exhibits adaptability and showcases effective problem-solving skills.
• Works effectively as a team player while also capable of working independently.

COMPENSATION

• Between $50,000 – $70,000 base salary depending on relevant years experience + annual bonus
• Full health benefits (dental, medical, vision) and health care spending account, paid vacation, personal days
• Pension plan, RRSP matching
