One of Western Canada’s largest privately operated Insurance brokerages is on the lookout for a Commercial Fleet Account Manager.

With over 10 locations spread all across Canada, our client specializes in Commercial Insurance solutions for small to large sized enterprises, while also servicing their personal and auto needs.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Based out of the Burnaby head office, the Commercial Fleet Account Manager will play an important role of servicing high-value clients’ commercial auto needs, while collaborating with others in the Personal Lines and Auto team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Manage a portfolio of commercial fleet accounts, including client onboarding, policy renewals, etc.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored insurance solutions
• Conduct thorough risk assessments for commercial fleet clients and provide proactive risk management advice
• Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and coverage options that best suit the clients’ needs
• Maintaining ICBC inventory and batching ICBC documentation
• Cross-selling and upselling of other insurance products and if and when applicable
• Other ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned by the Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

• Level-1 or 2 Broker license
• Ideally 2 to 5 years’ experience with Commercial Auto/Fleets Insurance solutions
• Exceptional communication, organization, and prioritization skills
• Experience using Applied EPIC is an asset as well as MS Office products including Excel
• Natural ability to thrive in a team-based environment

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary in the range of $50,000 to $70,000 depending on experience
• 4 weeks’ vacation to start (prorated depending on start date)
• Generous benefits package with a 50/50 cost split

• No shift work! (Fixed schedule Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm)
