    Le vice-président adjoint, ventes au détail travaille avec l’équipe des ventes pour

    atteindre une cible de vente précise, en couvrant 300 cabinets se concentrant sur la relation de conseil à Montréal et dans les régions environnantes. Afin de réussir dans le cadre de ce poste, le titulaire doit être un professionnel chevronné de la vente de services financiers ou du développement des affaires, et posséder de solides compétences en partenariat et en relations d’affaires.

    Quelles sont les responsabilités courantes d’un vice-président adjoint, ventes au détail?

    De concert avec un vice-président, grossiste principal, il acquiert une compréhension approfondie des besoins en matière de placement, d’expansion des affaires et de service de quelque 300 conseillers en placement choisis en maintenant un grand niveau de communication avec eux dans le cadre de rencontres individuelles (en personne et virtuellement) et de éunions/présentations en succursales et, dans une moindre mesure, par téléphone, courrier, courriel et au moyen de conférences téléphoniques.

    Il contribue à cerner toutes les occasions de vente et de promotion des produits de Placements Franklin Templeton par les maisons de courtage sur le territoire de vente et en informe le vice-président responsable, grossiste principal responsable de la région de Montréal.

    Il communique avec les autres membres de l’équipe (directeur des ventes interne, coordonnateur des ventes) au sein du territoire de vente déterminé afin de s’assurer que tous les conseillers en placement du territoire reçoivent des services adéquats au moyen de la réalisation du plan de territoire, de la tenue de réunions d’équipe régulières pour évaluer l’avancement des activités et de l’examen de la base de données des conseillers.

    ​Quelles qualifications, compétences et expériences idéales

    Baccalauréat exigé, préférablement accompagné d’un MBA ou des titres de CIMA, CFA.

    Vaste expertise en matière de placements et grande compréhension des marchés financiers.

    Cours sur le commerce des valeurs mobilières au Canada ou autres titres reconnus dans le secteur (CFP, AVA, FCSI, CIM ou CFA), un atout.

    De six à huit d’expérience connexe, préférablement dans un environnement de vente.

    Expérience de trois ans et plus des cycles des ventes annuels ou d’au moins cinq ans dans le secteur des services financiers à un poste de ventes ou d’expansion des affaires.

    Excellentes aptitudes à la communication orale et écrite

    Bonne maîtrise du français

    Autonome et capable d’établir et de gérer des relations importantes à l’interne et à l’externe.

    Connaissance des outils pertinents, dont Morningstar et Bloomberg.

    Maîtrise des produits de Microsoft Office : PowerPoint, Excel, Word et Outlook.

    Compétences en raisonnement analytique et critique.

    Solide compréhension des marchés financiers, du processus de placement et du secteur des valeurs mobilières.

    Bonne compréhension de la technologie, des médias sociaux, des feuilles de calcul et des logiciels de GRC jusqu’à l’utilisation de systèmes de vidéoconférence.

    The Assistant Vice President, Retail Sales works as part of a sales team to achieve a specific sales target with coverage of 300 advisory relationships specific firms in Montreal and the surrounding area. To be successful in the role, the incumbent is an experienced financial services sales or business development professional, with strong partnership and business relationship skills.

    What are the ongoing responsibilities of an Assistant Vice

    President, Retail Sales?

    Working with a Vice President, Senior Wholesaler to develop a thorough understanding of investment, business development and service needs of approximately 300 selected Investment Advisors by maintaining high level of contact with them with one-on-one meetings (face to face and virtual), branch meetings/presentations, and, to a lesser extent, via telephone, mail, email, and conference calls.

    Assist in identifying all opportunities to sell and promote Franklin Templeton Investment products at the broker/dealer firm level within a sales territory and communicate those opportunities to the Vice President, Senior Wholesaler responsible for Montreal.

    Coordinate with other team members (Inside Sales Manager, Sales Coordinator) within the defined sales territory to ensure that all Investment Advisors in the territory are receiving appropriate coverage through execution of the Territory Plan, regular team meetings to review progress and review of the Advisor database.

    What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help

    someone to be successful?

    Bachelor’s degree required, MBA and/or CIMA, CFA preferred.

    Strong investment acumen and understanding of Financial Markets

    Canadian Securities Course or other industry designations (CFP, CLU, FCSI, CIM, CFA) would be an asset.

    6 to 8 years related work experience in a sales environment preferred.

    Experienced 3+ years annual sales cycles or 5+ years of financial services industry experience in a sales or business development capacity.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Fluency in French

    Self-driven with ability to build and manage key internal and external relationships.

    Knowledge of relevant tools including Morningstar and Bloomberg.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office products – PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook.

    Analytical and critical thinking skills.

    Solid understanding of the financial markets, investment process, and securities industry.

    Good understanding of technology from social media, spreadsheets, CRMs to the use of video conferencing technology.
