About The Role
HUB continues to grow and is seeking a dynamic Account Associate to join our Employee Benefits and Retirement team in Windsor. In this role, you will partner with assigned Account Managers and Consultants to service and retain an existing book of business by providing timely administrative support. This is an ideal role for a strong team player who possesses superior time-management, organizational, and follow-up skills.
What You’ll Do
- Review, process, and prepare client reports for new business, renewals, updates, and marketing in accordance with applicable reporting schedules and reporting templates
- Maintain and update client files, including recording and completing activities in our broker management system
- Troubleshoot client inquiries, assist claim inquiries, and provide support to client’s benefits plans
- Assemble benefit proposals for prospect meetings
- Conduct benefits comparisons and generate reports, assisting both account managers and consultants in reporting deliverables
- Gather employee data and assist with the preparation of marketing documents and cover letters
- Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine significance and distribute them as appropriate
- File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports efficiently for all team members
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, couriers, faxes, and email in a timely manner
- Support team with any required client scheduling and/or meeting support
- Coordinate with insurance carriers as required
What You’ll Need for Success
- Minimum 2 years of administrative support experience
- Strong organizational, time, and client management skills
- Proactive and customer-focused approach
- Strong initiative and follow-up skills
- Professional communication (verbal/written) and strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter and strong team player able to work within Production and Service teams
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to learn and understand new systems quickly; EPIC fluency is an asset
