Position Details
What You Will Do
- Provide business analytics and insights to product leader and other leaders to help improve business decisions and processes
- Create and maintain a suite of reports that provides critical information to stakeholders
- Develop Business Intelligence applications (Qlikview, Power BI, etc.)) to be used for accessing reports and data
- Drive the implementation and monitoring of reports and analytics developed
- Conduct ongoing analysis to areas of opportunity and prepare trend analysis
- Actively monitor KPI gap-to-budget where appropriate, and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with the other teams in the actuarial function in facilitating access to the data required in completing their projects
- Produce data and reports to satisfy regulatory and internal risk compliance requirements
- Review reports for accuracy and data quality
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Actuarial or Mathematics
- Advanced knowledge and skill using SQL, Microsoft Excel and Access
- Prior experience with business intelligence software
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to coordinate with business stakeholders to best fit reporting
- Strong technical knowledge, including best/standard practices in reporting
