The Role: Underwriting Extraordinaire

As a key member of the Commercial Lines (Property) team, you’ll underwrite risks, shape the portfolio, and build strong broker relationships.

What You’ll Do:

• Analyze Risks: Assess quote requests and applications, making informed decisions for new business processing.
• Drive Efficiency: Ensure seamless renewals, endorsements, and cancellations to keep our portfolio thriving.
• Collaborate: Work with various departments to address mutual concerns effectively.
• Broker Partnership: Be the go-to expert for brokers, providing valuable advice and prompt responses.
• Network: Attend industry functions, building connections to contribute to our growth.

What You Bring:

• Proven Expertise: 3 – 5 years of commercial property and casualty experience, policy knowledge, and rating guidelines.
• Communication Wizard: Exceptional written and verbal skills.
• Organization Maestro: Excellent interpersonal and time management abilities.
• Tech Savviness: Strong computer skills and adaptability to modern tools.
• Continuous Learning: Pursuing or holding a CIP/FCIP designation.
