    Job Description

    The Mortgage Funding and Broker Support team is primarily responsible for the administration of routine residential mortgage portfolio, from new loan inception to maturity or discharge. In addition to preparing and processing all mortgage-related transactions and documents, this position requires a high degree of Accuracy and Team work.

    The Mortgage Administrator, Funding Specialist sets up/administers new mortgage business, processes the related financial transactions, addresses routine queries from internal and external customers, and maintains control of all security/property documents.

    Job Requirements:

    General knowledge of residential mortgage business and mortgage underwriting practices.

    Knowledge of real estate law Knowledge of mortgage-related provincial legislation.

    Sound knowledge of MS Office programs, such as Word and Excel Previous Banking experience is an asset.

    Excellent customer service skills.

    Strong interpersonal skills

    Excellent written and oral communication skills

    Proven organization and time management skills

    Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

    Ability to understand and correctly interpret legal mortgage documents

    Oral and written French language skills are an asset but not required.

    During peak times overtime will be required.

    Salary & Benefits

    The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

    Primary Location Waterloo, Ontario

    Salary range is expected to be between $41,025.00 CAD – $68,375.00 CAD
