    We are seeking experienced professional to oversee and manage our AMS Application Support team for multiple Web and Cloud based applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and customer-centric approach.

    We will count on you to:

    • Manage a team of professional IT product support specialists including hiring, training, budgeting, forecasting and performance evaluation.
    • Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork and customer-centric culture
    • Monitor team performance and key performance indicators to assess and improve support effectiveness and alignment with organization’s goals
    • Champion stability initiatives to enable application high availability for BAU function
    • Drive a culture to communicate with users by delivering best practice communications, guidance, and other appropriate support until tickets are resolved.
    • Confer with other IT colleagues as needed to assist with solving issues depending on the problem encountered.
    • Develop communications to inform clients and internal users of new software application roll outs and implementations; outages and downtime, new system functionality upgrades, software training opportunities, new system documentation resources, and other events that may impact a client’s ability to use the existing or new system.
    • Ensure all relevant implementation, support, and change management processes are adhered to (i.e. Software Development Lifecycle and Change Management).
    • Provide status reports on team performance to leadership.

    What you need to have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • 8+ yrs experience in application support, application development, or similar field.
    • Strong communication and personal skills; must be able to communicate effectively with other team members, teams, business partners and customers.
    • Ability to efficiently resolve issues with minimal supervision.
    • Availability for on-call support during off-hours (rotating schedules – shared across team)
    • Experience with at least one programming language: C#/VB.NET; C++, Java, ASP.
    • Experience with relational databases, particularly Oracle and MS SQL Server.
    • Experience with enterprise application architecture – web servers (primarily IIS) / windows networks / load balancing
    • Experience with debugging applications – review of source code / log files / event logs, experience with at least one of Splunk, ELK or Datadog.
    • Experience using container-based services(Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.
    • Knowledge of API technologies
