    We are seeking a highly motivated Broker Support Technical Specialist who will provide support to our team in Reinsurance.

    This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Toronto office.

    Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.

    What the day will look like

    • Work as part of the broking client service team supporting client deliverables. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • building content for reinsurance underwriting submissions, including analyzing data, and editing content
    • creating and working with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets using formulas, functions, and pivot tables
    • preparing Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, charts, and graphics
    • coordinating with colleagues to complete the final product
    • Use database functionality to analyze and summarize data
    • Enter data in proprietary systems and produce relevant reports
    • Lead placement filing and compliance work for assigned client accounts using Aon workflow and systems
    • Assist team with the organization of marketing events as required
    • Using knowledge of the department’s procedures and systems to prepare routine correspondence, documentation, forms, notices, or statistical reports

Based in Toronto, ON, you will provide exceptional technical support to a team of high-performing Brokers and other colleagues to ensure Treaty renewals are executed flawlessly.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

    • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to prepare documents with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to collaborate well with others and to interact with variety of audiences
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple assignments to meet deadlines in a timely manner
    • Ability to work independently while reporting to various departments, teams, and offices
    • Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple assignments,
    • High school diploma or equivalent with college experience preferred
    • Experience in (re)insurance is an asset
