ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a local insurance brokerage with multiple branches, passionate about providing innovative and customized insurance solutions to businesses in the community. They are seeking a Commercial Insurance Broker to join their team and help local businesses protect their assets in creative and innovative ways.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Commercial Lines Broker will service existing clients and collaborate with administration, underwriters, management and other advisors in the office.
ABOUT THE POSITION
- Assess clients’ insurance needs and provide customized insurance solutions that meet their specific requirements
- Build strong relationships with clients to ensure their continued satisfaction and loyalty
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments through in-depth research on insurance policies and providers
- Negotiate insurance premiums and terms with insurance providers on behalf of clients in a creative and innovative manner
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the insurance process
- Maintain accurate records of clients’ insurance policies and information in a user-friendly, digital format
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Level 1 or 2 insurance designation in Winnipeg
- You have proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Broker or a similar role within the insurance industry
- You have a strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and regulations, and are always looking for creative and innovative solutions
- You’re an excellent communicator and have strong interpersonal skills
- You can build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance providers
COMPENSATION
- $50,000 – $80,000 base salary depending on relevant experience + commissions on new business and renewals + performance bonus
