Your Job
As an ambassador for IFC suite of technological solutions, you provide System training and technical support to internal/external business partners. You are responsible for facilitating and establishing electronic computer connections to enable the transfer and processing of insurance information with our Broker partner network within Security Standards. You will promote, and conduct needs analysis on PL and CL systems, Connectivity, Training and workflow processes while offering and implementing suggestions for improvement.
- Maintain and develop knowledge of Intact PL and CL systems, products, and any system enhancements or new product launches. Deliver training on IFC’s Broker technology. Update internal stakeholders and deliver and conduct follow-up visits on system training to Brokers.
Maintain and develop knowledge of Broker management and Broker quoting systems
- Rollout and training of Intact’s new Contact Broker Processing System to brokers. Ongoing monitoring of results for building and implementing action plans for continual improvement of new systems and technology.
- Conduct monthly review and analysis of assigned Brokers. Collaborate with regional teams to identify Broker candidates for point of sale, and connectivity tools and implement opportunities to increase Platform usage
- Provide training and coaching to Helpline agents
- Maintain and develop knowledge of eDoc technology, including the Intact APP and Client Centre rollout and secure Dec suppression from Brokers, working with regional management in rollout strategies
- Recommend process and/or technology changes to improve business results and maintain competitiveness, including the development of Contact PL/CL.
Your Skills
- University degree or combination of Education and relevant experience
- Completion of or progress toward a Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) designation
- Minimum of three years prior experience in a personal lines/commercial lines underwriting role at an intermediate or senior level
- Computer literacy including a high level of knowledge in Halcion, Client eDocs, Contact and other policy processing systems is essential and familiarity with Lotus Notes, Outlook and Microsoft Office is preferred.
- Individual must hold a valid Driver’s License and have a willingness to travel within the geographic territory of the region. This role requires frequent travel.
- Individual must possess the following skills; ability to teach the Adult Learner; sound knowledge of Personal Lines and/or Commercial Lines products, guidelines and underwriting rules
