KEY OBJECTIVE:

As a key member of the Financial Lines underwriting department, you will have the role of managing and growing a Private and Not-for-profit Management and Professional Liability book of business. As such, you will play a critical role in the growth and profitability initiatives for this specialty department.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identifying, analyzing and developing sources of new business by actively marketing Chubb products;
• Market Focus, Strategy & Execution – develops new business opportunities and provides customized approaches on market conditions and broker needs, works closely with leadership on the development and execution of marketing strategy.
• Risk selection, coverage negotiation and pricing adequacy;
• Conduct in-depth underwriting analysis and determine best course of action on a risk specific basis;
• Working collaboratively with a centralized underwriting team on the retention of renewals and upselling on existing renewal book;
• Cross selling with Commercial field underwriters and Financial Lines underwriters;
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with a variety of brokers and insureds in the Central region, including educating brokers on Private and Not-for-Profit Management Liability segment
• Participating in self development activities to improve or further develop technical product knowledge.
