Our client is looking for an experienced Personal Lines Broker (Licensed) for their location in Dartmouth, NS. This broker will service their Personal Lines Home and Auto Insurance clients in the region. This is a very exciting opportunity to be part of a winning, energetic team where the philosophy is around providing amazing service through individualized attention!
The Personal Lines Broker is a client focused role where you would be providing excellent customer service to existing clients! The incumbent would be responsible for providing service to an assigned book of business. They will also cross sell and upsell additional products. This position would also include maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of all client and insurer communications and promoting client loyalty through attention to detail and relationship-building within tight deadlines. There will be in house support for claim processing in this role. This will allow you to focus more on your clients!
To be successful in this role, you should have your CAIB and/or CIP license, with 5 plus years personal lines insurance experience. Additionally, you should have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills, and strong analytical and decision-making abilities. You should also be adaptable and have a demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast paced, multi-faceted environment! Having excellent computer/keyboarding skills and being proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook are a must.
A generous compensation package, which includes base plus commission, will be determined based on the candidates’ qualifications and experience.
